I began collecting pieces for a store more than five years ago when I was unemployed. Fear got the best of me so my plans were put on hold. I continued to collect my glass dishes and started on my bead boxes until my friend needed her shed back so I began looking for a place to open a store. Once the decision was made it all fell into place with the help of family & friends. There were many late nights we counted & had to restring beads. I was back to work full time along with my part time teaching job so my days were pretty long.
The Beaded Pair store opened in November 2008 as a part time business. My inventory consisted of my personal stash of beads and continues to grow. Since then, the store has moved to a NEW LOCATION (7566 Gratiot) with better visibility and will be celebrating its second year next month.
